The Pucci blood line

From the Renaissance To the Contemporary Age.

The history of the Pucci family is deeply woven into the cultural fabric of Florence. They were among the city’s most steadfast allies of the Medici, participating actively in civic affairs and occupying influential positions within the political and social life.
Over the centuries, the family distinguished itself not only in governance but also in cultural patronage. Puccis have contributed to the flourishing of the arts that defined the Renaissance, supporting artists, architects, and intellectual life in a city that stood at the center of European culture.

The Pucci family has come to represent a continuity of vision, combining political awareness, creative sensibility, and entrepreneurial initiative. Through successive generations, the family adapted to changing times while maintaining its deep connection to Florence and its traditions.

Drawing upon both aristocratic heritage and modern imagination, Emilio Pucci transformed the family name into an international symbol of fashion and became one of the dominant figures of twentieth-century Western fashion, and one of the pioneers of the Made in Italy movement. He was a defining figure in the cultural phenomenon known as La Dolce Vita onto the global stage.

“Palazzo N6 is a cultural destination — an unconventional museum where the story of the Pucci family unfolds across six centuries.”

- LAUDOMIA PUCCI
